Jugend forscht

The German competition of young researchers, called “Jugend forscht”, took part on regional level of the Chemnitz region on 3th of March 2023. Young researchers competed in the contest and a few of the them qualified themselves for Saxonian level. “Jugend forscht” is Germans largest competition for young people who present their own STEM research projects. Part of the event was a fully day of further training for STEM teachers and STEMclub leaders. In the further training STEMclub activities haven been discussed by the teachers as a method for young learners to enrich their STEM competences and to awake deeper interest in STEM themes and research. That may end up in own contribution in the STEM competition as well as in more clear ideas for a career in the STEM professions. Even the ERASMUS+ project “Clean, green future through STEM-sport clubs” was part of the presentation and discussion.
