World Robot Olympiad (WRO)

The German level of the STEM competition “World Robot Olympiad (WRO)” took place in Chemnitz on 17 and 18 September 2022 (https://www.worldrobotolympiad.de/saiso.../deutschlandfinale). Germany’s best teams presented their achievements in the fields of robotics, technology and teamwork. 108 teams competed against each other. Teams from Chemnitz also qualified for the Germany final. Their excellent performance will now be honoured with a special highlight. Two teams will travel together with organizers from Solaris Förderzentrum für Jugend und Umwelt gGmbH to a STEM training course in Verona (Italy). It takes place as part of the "STEMsport clubs" project from November 21 to 25, 2022. The innovation agency t²i from Treviso has invited around 50 young people from Europe to the topic "Innovation". The project is funded by the ERASMUS+ program of the European union.
